    I suggest setting the limiter high so that you don't accidentally hit it and cause catastrophic failure to your OPG's. Palm Beach Dyno set mines at 8100 RPM's. Haven't had any issues thus far.

    Yes but when racing. Having those extra RPMs help with momentum. Meaning it helps to continuous carry the powerband throughout the next gear in manuals. I will admit 8k is a bit much so that's why I'm going to step it down a little.

    I've had a bad habit of taking the car up closer to 8K RPMs with the new manifold on pulls. I'm going to have to ease off and shift closer to 7,600.

    Anybody upgrade their OPG's (oil pump gears) with the 18' manifold setup? I know they're prone to breaking when introducing more RPM's due to the vibration and harmonics.

    That's the same setup I have plus 47lb injectors and it rolls out strong on 93. I'm going to be switching to e85 today.

    I've got a GT350 OEM cold air intake with an Airaid filter. I used a 3 inch coupler to slide in between the stock throttle body and GT350 intake elbow. It definitely helps having an intake. However my word of advice, if you are looking to upgrade, go with a cold air intake that requires a tune...

  8. '18 Manifold + Intake Questions

    I recommend removing the CMCV's on the 18' manifold and lock them out. Most tuners will recommend you do this. You will also need to reroute vacuum lines to work with the 18' manifold. A tune is required afterwards, or it will run like crap. The manifold will clear the hood 100%.

    I'm currently using 47lb Ford Performance injectors because you will be maxing out the injectors revving to 8k RPM's on e85.

  11. Weird creaking/rubbing type noise

    Check your strut tower mounts up front. Mine was creaking and making a faint tapping sound inside the cabin, when driving. I also re-greased my sway bars and end link suspension parts. But it turned out to be the strut tower mounts up front.

    So here's an update. I've been patiently working with my tuner over at Palm Beach Dyno and has got me dialed in pretty good on 93. Much better driveability with little to no fluctuation in RPMs at idle. I'm going to data log on e85 soon and hopefully see even more noticable gains.

    What are yalls opinions on doing Nitrous Blue? This is the same color used for the Focus RS Calipers.
