Thanks for the feedback. As ballpark that is not bad, to be honest most my driving is done outside of the busiest periods so on clear-ish roads the car does not seem to be as bad as i first thought/expected.
Mustang is a sensible investment in my eyes, but the rest of you 70k i am more then happy to advise you on and mates rates will be applied:headbang:
Ok, cool. how many miles do you do on average? It is nice to be able to reduce the tax paid on my self assessment. If you ran a Monaro then i...
My Exige will be my base line as i will basically have it for another 4 months so whatever that costs plus 25% should be the costs for the Mustang. So i will see, either way I will need to start earning more money...So if anyone needs financial advice on there life insurance, pensions or...
Thanks. I feel like i work hard enough to drive something I want to drive every day and with the Mustang that should not be any different. Just trying to get a handle on whether i need to run something alongside it for the longer trips. I am not to bothered about the car losing value because...
That MPG figure is actually pretty good. My Exige does approx 29 mpg on the motorway then 20's in town. So it may not be as bad I thought!!
Actually I am self employed so its coming out of my arse!:frusty: however i can claim this back in my tax return so i pay less tax on my earning but i...
Hello All,
I have finally being given an 'estimated' build date of early March(i am taking it with a goblet of salt!) but I am just happy to have an estimate rather then the don't knows i have been getting for the past 3 months or so.
My question is what kind of mileage are you all doing...
:( I had 3 Evos, 8,9 & 10 thankfully i never had any issues whatsoever. But i have seen a few and the rust was immense, especially on the 5 and 6. Amazing cars though.:headbang:
I am happy with the uplift in figures from just a map and CAI. I think it will be good to see how they develop the maps over time. From my experience with DS they have a good track record when it comes to development of thier products.
I just hope they don't supercharge thier development car...
The main issue with a car forum is very simple...you get a very polarised view. The loudest people are usually the ones with issues, because ultimately that is when you need advice. When your happy as larry your spending more time enjoying the car.
On every car forum i have been on this i has...
I remember some people had a similar issue with there MK 2 Focus ST, the thought was the Bosch ECU that was used was 'learning' the drivers inputs and when they did something the car was not 'used' to there was a hesitation in response. A lot of them pulled one of the fuses to 'reset' the ECU's...
If you have changed into 6th then thats your problem. I watched a video of someone accelerating(i think it was the guys as Hennessy) from stand still to 150mph and it took them 29 seconds to get to 140(1st,2nd,3rd,4th&5th gear used) at which point they changed into 6th and then it took a further...
