Looking at the location of the leak, I don't see how it would cause rust on the side of the dash?

2017 GT, I have it when my engine is cold but goes away when it's up to normal operating temperature. I believe it's normal.

An update to this thread.....the issue still persists. Took it in the 2nd time and dealership replaced the rear trunk seal but found out that they drilled a hole in the floor pan! Looks like their hiding the issue instead of finding the source of the leak..

Unacceptable....i.can live with a little creak but this is too much....

I took the car in last week, they got a leak guy to look at it and they adjusted the seal and stuff. It rained yesterday and the carpet was wet again. I'm pretty sure its coming from under the carpet...

Fixed.....right tail light bolt loose.. didnt think it would make such noise but noise is gone now

Have the same exact issue in my 2017 mustang with 28k km...so annoying..basically going over uneven surface/speed bump at extremely slow.speed will produce the sound... Have an appointment next week...I hope they don't blame it on my lowering spring because I had this noise since I got the car.

Never opened the passenger door until recently

Just read through the thread。。。He just had a wet carpet and was leaking through under the chassis.. for me its significant amount of water which I assumed its not coming from the bottom

Freezing Rain last couple days...

Its been raining a lot the last couple days and surprised to find that the rear area behind passenger seat filled with water. I am 100% sure that the window was closed. Any ideas what could be happening here??
