  1. The new 7.3 V8 fits in the Mustang......

There's definitely a market for big cubes. Anyone wondered why the Challenger is selling so well? Also, it is no different to manufacturers sharing platforms for different vehicles; in this case the 7.3 was required for the F250, so why not make use of this small block? Big cubes in a...
  2. New 6.8L V8 Engine Coming For Mustang in 2022?!

    Thank you for clarifying.
  3. New 6.8L V8 Engine Coming For Mustang in 2022?!

Why not? Even if it isn't alloy it won't be heavier than the Predator; certainly not as top-heavy. Size-wise it's the same a 351 Windsor, only longer for larger bore spacing. It's getting made specifically for F150 and Mustang on a new line so I'm betting they're not going to go to such...
  4. Who will swap for the new 7.3 V8!

I find it quite amusing that people are trying to dictate what can or can't be discussed. Hint: unsubscribe from this thread if you don't like it. Sorry that not every one sees things your way. Would be very cool indeed.
  5. Who will swap for the new 7.3 V8!

With hardware changes for high rpm it would easily go over 700hp. No blowers or intercoolers means it would probably be on par in weight to Predator. What's stopping Ford producing this in alloy?
  6. Who will swap for the new 7.3 V8!

As some are aware, Ford Motorsport have released an iron block coyote to cope with boosted applications beyond 2000hp. A destroked Godzilla with boost would make that look like child's play. Again, and as mentioned in the video, those bores are ridiculously huge. If Ford ever decide to use...
  7. Lund just got his GT500

Y'all saw how rich this thing is running in Speed Phenom's vid.... In good conditions and with DRs and tune I'm thinking 8s, not 9s - especially if they don't have trouble with remapping the box' max 3200rpm launch. Heck, with good conditions a stocky is close to a 9. Like Bmac mentioned...
  8. Speed Phenom puts his 2020 GT500 on the scale!

Agree. Doesn't seem like the cocky type, either. Information is good.
  9. Randy Pobst Twitter Today

Randy was pleased wasn't he. Called it a supercar. Who am I to argue? /Mid-engined shmid-engined.

  11. "Mustang Mach E" Confirmed, Reservations Begin Immediately After Nov 17 Live-Streamed Reveal

"Heritage" is one thing, branding is another. This is an addition to the Mustang line up as we're all aware. What some here are saying is they personally don't feel that it deserves to be called a Mustang, and that is totally fine to believe/think that (In fact my first observation was how this...
  12. "Mustang Mach E" Confirmed, Reservations Begin Immediately After Nov 17 Live-Streamed Reveal

You acknowledge that Ford needs this for the future of Ford, but not the future of Mustang, so when Ford go under do you think the Mustang is still going to be made? That is so funny. This needs the Mustang branding to succeed. Ford didn't just slap a Mustang logo on it - they gave it their...
  13. "Mustang Mach E" Confirmed, Reservations Begin Immediately After Nov 17 Live-Streamed Reveal

This SUV needs to succeed in a way something with any other badge from Ford simply won't. That's the biggest reason. There's a lot banking on BEVs and the SUV segment is the most lucrative one, so no matter how great they make this SUV, with a name that doesn't attract people to the showrooms it...
  14. "Mustang Mach E" Confirmed, Reservations Begin Immediately After Nov 17 Live-Streamed Reveal

That'll only make the purists and traditionalists happy. I would also call that half-assed. It's like it's trying to be something but it isn't?
