Sorry. Didn't see that I had a response until just now.
1. It does allow for Carplay and Android Auto.
2. I used a youtube video to install it. It only took about an hour. This kit can replace a sync2 system. If you don't have the Sync2 8" screen you would need to find the brackets to mount...
I'm no longer a DIB owner. I sold my Mustang back in January. I'm missing it a little now... I'll get another one day.
if anyone is interested, I have a post over in the member classified section for my color matched DIB fire extinguisher.
I have a Deep Impact Blue Fire Extinguisher and Covercraft 50 Year sunshade for sale. Both items are in near perfect condition. The only wear on the fire extinguisher is where it rubbed on the bracket. It's not visible when mounted. I kept my car in the garage so the sunshade wasn't used that...
Sold my mustang and have a few things to sell. The CAI was installed on a 2015 Ecoboost, but it appears to fit 2015 to 2020 models.
Asking $165.00. The price includes shipping cost.
I purchased this kit last year and recently decided to sell my Mustang. This unit does include navigation. I’m also including the OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter. This kit is all that is needed to upgrade to Sync 3, if you already have Sync 2 with the 8" screen.
Edit: Added two pics that were...
Were you able to successfully install 3.10? I was surprised to see that there was actually an update. I followed the instruction and it fails to complete. It was basically the exact same instructions to update my F150 Sync 3. I had no issues with that update.
I don't know anything about the Raxiom system. If you want true Android Auto there are at least two ways to get it. One way is expensive but takes very little time. 4dtech.com has a complete upgrade for right at 1900.00 for your year. More for the nav version. The other way is to read the thread...
I recently replaced my 2015 driver side using that info posted by Cobra Jet. Found it for 49.00 on eBay. It does appear to be clearer than the passenger side. I do have blis. I did have to trim one tab to make it fit. Once I did that it snapped right into place...
Same here with the dealer not listening. I showed up and the guy was out there wiping it down. All they use is some sort of aerosol spray and a towel... They also stuck the dealership sticker on there. I peeled it off right in front of them.
I actually just got these and just installed the rears. I pulled on them in several directions as soon as I was done. They don't budge. I think they look great.
They seem to provide more coverage than most of the others that I have seen.
Installed a replacement puddle lamp. My driver side light has recently turned into bloated pony. Also received my front and rear MMD splash guards from AM!
I feel your pain. I am a contractor at a very large shipyard. I love my job, and have the rare privilege to drive into the yard. I can come and go as I please. I do drive it in the winter. I park it in a safe place and walk everywhere. The dust can still be bad. Even then there are people...
Congrats on the car. I can tell you that you have to replace the panel if you want to remove the faux gas cap. Something is visible behind the cap. Either holes or tabs.
From my own experience... if you slam the trunk enough it will simply fall off. Luckily, it fell off while I was parked...
I don't have an answer for you, but I have been dealing with this exact same problem for several months now. I purchased a class C RV back in February. I also have a 15 Mustang and and 17 AWD Escape. Neither can be flat towed.
Trying to decide what to do about a tow vehicle. I am considering...
