  1. E85? for Chicagoland and Wisconsin

Gonna finally due my power-adder project this year with a tune and debating the E85 option. I'm in the north suburbs but it's not a DD and I usually head northward for rural road trips. SW quad driftless area, northwoods up to UP. Of course once you get 25 miles past the border you're in 91...
  2. Illinois-Chicago

Good to know that a shop has the best equipment, but still consider the operator. Here's one suggestion: https://www.ultimaraceworks.com/ Haven't used them but I likely will for my next project. Recommended by an SCCA friend.

  5. ATI Super Damper for '16 GT

    Anyone know which to order?
  6. Big Name Tuners vs Local Dyno Shop

I'm new to the tuning world and will be needing one for my IM / airbox upgrade soon. My gut says that Lund / AED / PBD / Wengerd have every little thing mastered and so that's the way to go. I'm not sure I've got the time or knowledge to do the data logging and final tweaks. I also have a couple...
  7. N. Chi Burbs for Roll Center / Bumpsteer Install

Anyone got a shop (I'm in Lake Co.) that they would trust with the Steeda kit?
  8. Best spray paint (rattle can) for exterior parts

What are you'll using for emblems and such?
  9. Anderson Composites holiday discounts

Anyone ever see a discount at holiday time? Can't say I've seen them included by out vendors.
  10. Best High Flow Replacement Cat?

I would highly recommend the Gesi cats, from Ontario, Canada. They make my Corsa Sport louder than I like but I believe the HP is there.
  11. Need input on changing cats

I wanted max flow w/o LT's (Chicago smog tests). I bought a set of 3" MAK cat delete pipes so I won't have to fab all those bends and then welded a pair of GESi hi-flo cats into the MAK pipes at the same location as the OEM cats. I now have a full 3" system from headers to tips. I may be wrong...
  12. Want car loud . High flow cat install?

Sorry to catch you after your purchase, but especially being in Ontario, you should check out Gesi cats. Best hi-flo available and yes they will get you loud.
  13. OEM Header Flange Size

They're not installed yet but they will be flanged to the OEM header both sides. The MAK delete pipes will get cut and welded at the cat end to take into account the shorter length needed. Still debating a flex section or two. Hopefully will get a decent gain without LT's as I wanted to avoid...
