  1. Help with a part number

bumping this one last time just to see if anybody has the hardware from a seat delete and wants to sell it. Thank you,
  2. Help with a part number

oh well I appreciate you looking! I will pay way more then they're worth if anyone has them!
  3. Help with a part number

I would gladly pay shipping plus some extra!
  4. Help with a part number

Thank you, I believe it is in fact the lower bolt. I suppose this means I need a whole assembly... To clarify in any case, this is the hole for the bolt I need in the red box: https://i.imgur.com/ooQrPIA.jpg
  5. Help with a part number

Hey guys, I feel dumb asking about this but I'm having trouble finding a part number for a bolt that I lost. It's for the rear seat belt assembly (or whatever this thing is called, if I knew the proper name that would probably help too lol). Local dealership wasn't so helpful and I probably...
  6. Michelin Super Sports on Rear, Stock Pirellis on Front

yes. It could probably work out fine but you're talking about tires that might heat up at different rates, perform in rain/temp differently, and have other handling characteristics that vary. The most likely danger is creating a situation where you have unexpected under/oversteer. Nobody ever...
  7. Ford guy Chevy guy or car guy?

I'm relatively young and my favorite car in my teens was the e90 m3. I always liked Mustangs to some extent but saw the sn95 and forst s197's as lame American junk. I was the typical "370z's and Evo/STI and the bets cars ever" guy who had not yet even touched a performance car. The Coyote was...
  8. Rebound recovery question

I posted this in a separate thread but didn't get much of an answer. I have a PP GT with Eibach Pro kit springs and was considering the adjustable Steeda shocks. Similarly, I'm looking for an improvement in compliance with mid-corner bumps or expansion joints but I do not want to sacrifice and...
  9. Adjustable shocks and struts

Steeda makes some rebound adjustable shocks that are competitive with Koni Yellow's. They have a range of springs as well. I've been thinking about them myself but it's not worth it to me if they aren't a significant improvement over my base PP stuff
  10. Guess what? Motortrend favors the Camaro again

Every time I see another 1LE vs. GT PP comparison it's like nobody compares realistic price. I'm not speaking for the 18 but I bought my 17 GT PP for $32k Out the door with tax title tags and the extended powertrain warranty. The 1LE was going for about $38k. The Chevy is a faster car no doubt...
  11. GT350R Carbon Fiber Wing

The bottom line is that you shouldn't "expect" performance form your Chinese wing because it exists for aesthetic purposes. You don't want to accept that you're wasting money for some placebo gainz and getting mad a people on a track sub forum even though you don't track your car. It's not that...
  12. GT350R Carbon Fiber Wing

    >I don't want to void my car's warranty by taking it to the track This is widely accepted as 100% false. Why are you even posting in this sub forum? > perhaps adding a rear wing that pushes the car down in the back will keep the rear tires sticking better around 'slight' turns at 60+ MPH lol...
  13. I really hate factory installed strut bolts

I didn't realize he was talking about the splined part. Although I didn't have trouble taking those off with a dead blow hammer. I left the nut at the end of the bolt to give larger impact profile as well. I'm pretty suspicious that he couldn't get his bolts out without destroying them..
  14. Steeda's New Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Springs - (Track Proven Winner!!!)

Question, How does the dual rate springs and Steeda adjustable shocks compare to stock PP suspension as far as performance, ride quality, and ride height? I'm currently on Eibach pro kit springs but I want to switch to something with adjustability and more track focused but complaint. I was...
  15. I really hate factory installed strut bolts

It's cause they're torqued to about 150 ft/lbs and you need a impact gun (for comparison, the strut bolts under your hood are like ~48 ft/lbs). I hope you didn't reinstall using a wrench without checking the torque spec. You don't need the most expensive impact gun either. Also buy a basic...
