More people lean toward Whipple for PD blowers, seems like a great setup. You can get a lot right from Whipple without going elsewhere to upgrade.
Technically, I don't think there is anything wrong, grinding the block is a problem.....except for Ford and Roush engineers who spent thousands of...
I'm sure all forms of FI will eventually be available. Whipple has alluded to their kit being available, but being redesigned to fit under the new hoodline.
Whipple makes a great product, I don't think you should keep bringing Roush's faults to light to look better. Especially since they haven't said anything in this post.
Anyway, looking forward to see what you have in store for the 2018. 2650 TVS also.
Just saw a red 2018 with the black accent package driving around Dearborn, looks great. The more I see it in person the better it looks. Felt the same about 2015-2017. This car is far from ugly to me.
If you see it driving toward you on the street it looks similar to the 2017, just more updated. Pictures and real life are always different. I think once most people see them driving around they will warm up to the refresh.
Can Ford make a car that competes or beats the Demon, of course. But they haven't, and probably won't. The Demon is not just a Challenger with some parts slapped on it. It just seems some people want to downplay what it is and can do.
Plenty of people not named Vin Diesel love going fast in a straight line. Don't hate just because it's not for you. A 9 second, factory, street legal car is impressive, especially being a heavy car. I would rather play around in a Demon than an "all around" car any day.
Can't answer that question, but I do recommend trusting Lidio. You probably already know, but he is very familar with Mustangs and Roush setups. He leans toward the more conservative side. He tuned my FBO Mustang before.
I honestly would like to see the Whipple guys post more real world results like track times. Not really interested in dyno sheets and sales pitches. If you hit the strip, please post results. I think that will sway people who are doing research more than anything else. Whipple setup looks great...
Don't see how you can give any review of the Whipple tune and you don't even have it. What would a race prove, you have a custom tune and he has a stock Roush tune. This Whipple stuff really is annoying. Look at the drag times on this site. There are all different types of power adders running...
