  1. WHAT MODIFICATIONS WILL YOU BE DOING TO YOUR GT350/R

    Acknowledged. See post 47.
  2. WHAT MODIFICATIONS WILL YOU BE DOING TO YOUR GT350/R

Agreed. In fact the Kooks headers only merge once, at the collector. So +1.
  3. WHAT MODIFICATIONS WILL YOU BE DOING TO YOUR GT350/R

2 Ys at the flange and 1 at the collector, hence Tri-Y.
  4. so why doesnt the GT350 come with.....

There is no race car worth its weight in gold. Just sayin'. Even an F1 car at around 600 Kgs and at todays gold price would be worth over $20,000,000 if it was worth its weight on gold.
  5. Are there any pics of the GT350 Interior with the Technology Package?

Looking at the ordering guide again it seems that only the "R" + electronics pack has the auxiliary gauges.
  6. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Yes... growing and growing = DOHC = peaky. Flat toque = OHV. I'm out.
  7. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

I'm not disagreeing with you and I understand the benefits of OHC motors. I'm also not saying that OHV make more torque than OHC motors of similar displacement. What I am saying is that usually torque is the most dominant characteristic in an OHV motor. This is even shown in the example a...
  8. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

That's my point. OHV torque is more dominant where as in OHC and DOHC motors especially tend to be more peaky. I'm not saying that this is the determining factor but a general influence when comparing the two.
  9. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

OHV motors tend to be more torquey than OHC motors but usually don't rev as high.
  10. Shelby GT-350 Tires

On the "R"? They would work + would stretch less than the stock tires. Then you could put the rear 315s up front. This might actually be an option worth considering.
  11. explain what the 2 piece Brembos are and the benefit

Although the floating disc concept isn't new, this floating pin design is the first I've seen. Traditional floating discs are held by the hats using fasteners, allowing the disc to be replaced separately. This doesn't look like an option with the floating pin design. Wonder if they offer...
  12. Shelby GT-350 Tires

Hmm. I doubt putting a smaller OD tire in pursuit of better acceleration was a goal set by Ford engineers. The R tires are fractionally wider than the regular 350 (3%), but seem significantly smaller in diameter (can't find OD specs for SportCup). I just think the R could use more...
  13. Shelby GT-350 Tires

Negative, Michelin don't make a 305/35 19 SuperSport nor do they make a 315/30 SportCup2. This according to their web site. It seems that these sizes were indeed made for the 350.
