Has anyone filled their stock coil covers in so that they are smooth? If so, what did you use to fill in the indentations in the cover? Was thinking of doing this but unsure of what to use that will bond to the plastic and won't crack out over time.

Like others, I painted mine to better match the car. But I think smooth would different and cool.

I painted mine also, but was looking to do something a bit different with them.

This would work for smoothing out the texture, but I am talking about filling in all of the writing and indentations on the cover so that they are perfectly smooth.

I think that is what he was getting at. You could go old school and get get them smoothed and chromed.

Easiest way is to fill them with glass/resin. Will hold up better than just filling them with bondo
