Funny Coolant colour - 1 year old Mustang

Mileage when it happened?
Stuck in traffic for any long periods of time (everything getting hot)?

I took it to Hendy Cosham/ Port Solent branch have to say they've been very good. gGt it back today well chuffed...... :-) hope you get the same service I dude. Good luck.

Thanks mate. Keep and eye on that coolant for the next few miles. Mines at Eastleigh. Part is in tomorrow so hopefully have it back by the weekend. Fingers crossed

How many miles had you both done before this appeared? Did you have any other signs?

Looks a bit orange at the bottom...
Mine is red, to match the car (Ford knows it's the best... :doh

I agree that Magnetic coolant would be problematic ;)

As if it needed to be any slower....

Oh yes going to be watching it like a hawk over the next couple of weeks . Its done just over 10,000 miles. I didn't get any signs at all,no oil on the floor and it wasn't running hot ....... it was only when I was cleaning under the car bonnet ( I was going to said 'sad I know' , but you guys are probably the only ones that understand that lol ) when I noticed it.

Yes it is green.....

Glad you have it back mate and hope that's the end of it now.

Weird it's green because I am pretty sure the coolant in ours is like a red/orange colour :shrug:

My coolant is competition orange. Maybe it's a obsolete colour now :shrug:

Okay getting a little bit suspicious now not 100% sure whether it's been flushed out completely or if the tank is stained ...... the top half is green the bottom orange ( maybe brown ish) hmmmmmm?

Is there anyone out there that can take a picture of their coolant tank and maybe a shot inside too, if we can get a couple of photos of good tanks we can use them as reference.

Bottom half of my tank still looks dodgy possibly brown not sure if I'm getting myself at it ......

Think I will call them tomorrow.

Looks a bit odd. Mine does not exhibit the two colour look.
I would be questioning the effectiveness of the flushing. The tsb states a marine pump. Might be worth asking the dealer to see the marine pump out of interest.
