I have a 2015 GT auto with flex fuel tune, PMAS, BMR Cradle Lockout Kit, Differential bushings, BMR drag springs, and M/T ET Street Rs 275/40-15. Still on stock stall. Tire pressure is at 15-16psi. I am footbraking enough to load suspension which is about 1500 RPM and then flashing on 3rd amber. The best 60ft is 1.93. I have tried lower RPM(1000) and hit it harder but I tend to lose traction. I have played with launch RPM. Either it bogs or blows the tires off. When it does hook it only gets 1.9X 60 ft Should get better than that even with stock stall. I got that on stock 255 Pirellis. Just not as consistent. I ran 7.99 in the 1/8 tonight @ 92 on E85. Not bad but I know if I can get my 60ft better that a 7.8X is not out of the question. Any suggestions?

You just need a converter. It doesn't take much. Your MPH in the 1/8 matched mine.

Has a lot more than a 7.8 if you are 7.9 with a 1.9 60ft.

1.6-1.7 and you will likely see a 7.5-7.6 1/8th. You have enough trap for it too.

Get a converter, even better.

I would adjust tire pressure down personally but try both and see what works. Also what is your burnout like? Are you pouring thick white smoke off them, barely getting them warm or somewhere in between?

Probably somewhere in between. They smoke some but nothing crazy. Was told too much isn't helping and only wasting rubber. My tire pressure is 15-16 psi

Is that before or after burnout?

I'm having same issue but with stick car I have a blower on 93 making about 600 wheel 500 tq. I have drag stars and 305 45 15 et street R tried 16 lbs and 20 lbs and I think my best 60' was a 1.98 running 7.9 @ 98mph. Performance pack with BMR sp080 lowering springs halfshafts, axles, and dual plate clutch. I either shake the tires, spin, or bog. I can't seem to get a good pass
tried launching at 4.5k and tire shake. Launch at 5500 hook and bog 6200 spin. Maybe I just need more suspension I just thought these tires would hook pretty much no matter what. They kill on the street but not on the track.

These bias tires you guys are running? Either way pressures you are trying are in between a bias and radial. And a 275/40/15?? I don't see that size offered, and by math that would be a REALLY short tire, like a 25" OD tire,

Bias should be treated like a slick, need a good but not crazy burnout, should be able to see smoke out your rear view before you move. 12-13psi cold.

Radials need just a quick but FAST speed burnout (2nd gear for manuals), I use my side view mirror, soon as I see smoke I roll out. 18-19psi cold.

If you are hooking at 5500, that is around your sweet spot, are you using a two step? If not, get a WOT box, you will then hook but be leaving with more power and not bog.

Went last night and ran 1/8 in my 2017 auto. PMAS, headers, and a 93 tune and I went 7.84@92 with a 1.89 60ft on 20in wheels with nitto tires so youre not far off, but that 60ft should be way down

Yes my tires are bias ply I’m going to try 14 lbs next time I go out and when the weather is cooler here in FL. Below are my passes from FL2K at 16 lbs.

Go to Pony Wars at South GA Motorsports Park tomorrow. The track prep is really good.
