Thinking of joining the club, did you pay to get installed? Curious how much it was.

YES... I paid for install. To be honest I didn't want to be working in my driveway for 3 days in this S Florida heat and the off/on rain we have been getting for the last month. It was VERY difficult letting someone else touch my car as I haven't had anything installed by a shop for over 10 yrs BUT this heat is just ridiculous.

Install prices will vary, but I got a great deal and paid LESS than $1000 for install. Well worth it to me at this point.

Pissing rain, so I left her in the garage.

take a look at the valve location on a PP rear wheel. it's not in the small triangle portion of the wheel. Hint, it's at the 1 o'clock position

Here's a front wheel. Note that it's in the small triangle portion of the wheel.

Ok. Thanks man. So the verdict is my chit is backwards on the left side.:headbonk:

The good thing is I won't have as much poke when I install my spacers

Its crazy how I had the same issue on my G35 except the staggered was reversed on both sides diagonally and I had to have tires removed to correct it because of tire direction. That's what I get from picking them stock and "unmolested."

Not necessarily. Mine are in the larger triangles just like the front.

That should protect her nose for sure. If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase it and how much?

Thanks.

Couldn't find it on sale so got it from American Muscle. $166.94 after a very old 6% discount code I found in this forum. AM hasn't supported the forum for some time now but they apparently never killed the 6% code. I'd post it but don't remember it. But 6% was only $10.66.

That's not a bad price for good bug and rock protection.
I'm happy with the price and quality. Only minor mistake I made was installing it by myself. It's actually easy to install by one person IF you don't care if some of the felt liner (or whatever it is) gets exposed to dirt. It was a real challenge to do the first few steps while also keeping the still loose part from falling to the ground. Next time I do it when my wife is home to hold those for the couple of minutes it takes to get the first steps done.

I never got a single chip on my 2k break in road trip. I took another 4-5k trip and used a few layers of painter's tape. The tape was no fun to put on or take off, plus the top layer gets frayed from the wind after a few days of high speed driving and needs to be replaced.
