you will be fine.... just don't track it "hard", if you are in beginner, intermediate or high intermediate, you are fine.
He'd still be perfectly fine. But after, I'd probably recommend an oil change just out of principle.

so before you dump the oil, please take note of your oil pressure readings and report back. I'm curious if you see any remarkable difference. My guess is yes, on cold starts and cold engine with the thicker oil you will notice higher readings. Let us know.

The only reason FOrd recommends 5W50 is due to the track-oriented nature that they believe GT350 owners would be using their cars with. It's the same reason why Performance Pack GT's use 5W50 while non-performance pack cars can use 5w20 I believe it was. I wouldn't sweat it. Just drive with it unless you plan on tracking it
GT PP cars come with the same oil as the base: 5W20. You may be thinking of the previous gen Track Pack, which really had no reason to come with 5W50.

Even with the 5 "cold" weight, it is still ~2x as viscous at 0 C/32 F and 20 C/68 F compared with 5w30, for example. Cold start is where most of your wear is.

OP,
Don't freak out. You're fine. <1 qt of 5w30 with 9 more of 5w50 isn't going to hurt anything. Unless you're tracking in the summer in Texas, at COTA, it'll be ok.
