This sort of talk is what originally kept me from getting a GT350 manifold, I didn't feel like changing out the OPG to be able to rev it to 8k.

Came across several threads where people were reving their GT350 manifolds to 7500 RPM and still getting great gains compared to stock.

If you can safely rev it to 8k go for it, but its not a necessity. There's plenty of gains even at 7500 to make it worth it.
Ditto. This held me back too. Soon we shall see.

Revving to 7.5K or even 8K is one of the main reason why I have been holding off from getting the GT350 IM. I brought up this question hoping that there was a fairly straight NA way of getting more mid rpm range HP. I was very intrigued with the recent threads about members making 500ish NA HP. It would be great but it seems like the OPG/Balancer replacement must go with making that kind of HP with the Coyote platform.

Just a heads up, its my understanding that the current OPG the S550 GT has in it is the S197 Boss 302's OPG. The Boss 302's redline was 7500rpm. From what I've heard and read, its safe. It's just something to consider/look into if you're interested in the GT350 mani but are worried about revving it to 7500.

You think the stock cams will pull to 8k? :D Don't think so. Get a set of comp stage 3 NA NVS cams and that stock GT intake will sing to 7300+ rpm. Right around where the comp cams max out.
They absolutely will. Look at like any cobra jet dyno.

My car is an auto with a Circle D 4c and with the mods in my signature, I made 435rwhp/487rwtq SAE, spinning to 7500rpm where the hp curve is flat, not falling off but probably good enough. I did go with the GT500 intake manifold, 93 octane only.

Where are all the documented opg failures?

Seems blown out of proportion, but I'd consider the gt350 oil pan/opg just out of the larger capacity, reduced chance for oil starvation on track, and especially for it's price point.

From what I have read, the GT350 IM is best suited for higher rpm hp gains. Which IM's make low to mid range hp gains if any? I want to make more hp, by staying NA. I don't want to have to get into the higher rpm range to see the best benefit from power adders. Basically, how to make NA power without have to rev the crap out the engine all the time.
You can increase revs, displacement, or add boost. Since you want to stay NA, your options are to increase revs or displacement. Can't just make up HP.

They stopped here at 7800, holding flat.

You can look up on SVT, Shaun@AED, he has another dyno showing similar results, I can keep looking but I don't need to.
