Mustangs booked on Figaro departing 9th February, arriving March 2017

First post and a hello to everyone.

I ordered my race red Mustang GT manual on the 22/3/2017. For the last 11 months I have managed to keep the thoughts of my new baby at the back of my head knowing the wait time would be so long. But this last month has been excruciating! The wait just seems to keep going on and on. CEVA updated with an expected delivery to the dealer at 4pm Friday so I would assume that delivery will be pushed into mid next week. The whole process in the last week or so has been like a circus. Oh well, I have waited this long, what's a few more days.

Sorry for the rant but I'm sure many will share the same sentiment's.

(I would also like to thank all those that contribute to this forum in the name of tracking information and delivery processes. Your insights and contributions are invaluable to the tormented who are waiting, waiting, waiting......) :clap2:

Did you ask them to save the window sticker? Yours looks to be in better condition than many I have seen.

Yep they've been instructed to save everything and basically not touch anything until I get there tomorrow my salesman is on the ball so nothing should happen untoward - I'm even going to the registry to get the plates out so can be there when the Lakin brackets go on.

They won't give you the plates unless you have the rego papers.

Correct. Sorry, should have said going to the registry with the dealer to take plates out of hold. All good! Didn't give him authority to colllect so thought that would be the best way to ensure nothing can go wrong.

Hmm, good idea. I gave authority to fetch but not attach - and also have LAKIN plates. Hope there isn't a stuff up

I really do despise dealers most of the time, pack of lying thieves.

Finally home after a horrible delivery process but the discount for not fitting my parts means I can live with it. Love my blue beast. Still deciding on a name but until all the mods are complete I don't think I'll decide. I'm just happy it's home and healthy How many other Figaro homes have been found?
