Looks like the craven speed stubby. https://www.cravenspeed.com/the-stubby-antenna-for-ford/

Had one on my 2012 and now it sits in a closet. Reception suffered compared to the big stock one for most out of town radio stations. There are only a few local stations around here that I listen to so not a very good metric.

I have a Craven stubby also...

Reception sensitivity seems to be about the same as the OEM antenna.
I bought the stubby because I didn't like the tall stalk sticking out of the fender, much cleaner lines at the rear.

Wow didn't realize the convertibles came with the antenna still. Much better with the stubby antenna. Wonder why Ford used these on the convertibles? Most manufacturers have done away with them on the convertibles. I think even the Camaro has a shark fin on the trunk.

There is a puck style antenna on the truck lid as well (I think for satellite radio?). Too bad they had to tack the additional flag pole on....

Exacto. Why didn't they just put it all in a Shark Fin on the trunk?

I'll still take the stub over the hideous RR antenna wire wrapped pencil

I could care less about AM/FM...
Wish it were an option I could opt out of., but this seems to be a decent alternative...

I got the Stubby for my vert and the fit is great. It really looks a lot better than the tall stock antenna. Reception is pretty bad in NC with the hills and trees and so far I have not noticed any loss of reception.

Different frequencies mean different antenna lengths (tuning). If you use your shark fin on the trunk for AM/FM, GPS and Satellite the signal would be split along with tuning issues. There are ways to use one antenna and maximize signal, but I think the cost would be much more than most would want to pay for....

Didn't realize I just answered a post from almost a yesr ago...... Never the less, it still applies...

Sorry, my bad for bringing the thread back to life. Just wanted to add to the list of people who were happy with the Stubby.
