...any new owners and such installing an oil separator?
I'm installing a bobs ultimate today. I took my car out for a spirited drive last week and popped the hood when I got back and had a small amount of oil residue around the connection point on my cobra jet manifold. I wasn't running a separator but will be after today!

I put my JLT 3.0 on a few weeks ago, definitely notice some oil in there (checked it once).

Happy to spend the $130 for some peace of mind. Think it looks cool too.

I have a UPR one and I am always amazed at how much it catches. I drive my car like a granny to be honest. Mostly because of the ridiculous bumper-to-bumper traffic I am faced with in my daily drive. Well worth the piece of mind it offers.

I installed my JLT catch can about 500 miles ago. Just checked and there is about half an inch of oil in the thing - very happy that is not ending up in the engine. definitely recommend these things for the low cost.

Nope no movement...solid as a rock. I grunted when I tightened it up so I know it's gotta be pretty damn tight :headbang:

LOVE IT!!
Single or twin? How do you find the street manners? Low RPM driveability?
Did you clearance the hood or lowered the motor? Thanks.

I'm assuming you mean the throttle body... I went with the twin 65 over the monoblade, because of the tuning issues I've read/heard about. Maybe the tuners have them worked out by now many be not, that doesn't matter. The street manners are as good as they were when I was bone stock. The low rpm drive ability is pretty dang good. I've got a little over 1k miles on it so far and I've only "chugged" it thru a parking lot twice, but he'll I did that before! And I still do it in my Toyota from time to time lol. I'm telling you the car drives better than stock now. And I didn't lower my engine, I have the cervinis stalker hood and YES I still had to cut the hood for the cobra jet to fit. Cervinis told me before I bought it that the hood would have to be modified for the CJ so I knew going into it. They are working on a stalker hood that won't have to be cut for the CJ but they couldn't give me a lead time. I'm glad I didn't have to put the blade to it...I would have wept a little. But it's all good I love the build and I can deal with the hood. I recommend this build to anyone looking to increase their smiles per gallon. That was really cheesy but damn it's the truth!!
