Have fragments of clutch hanging out of the bell housing... next step is to pull the trans, RST? Or stock clutch assembly again?

36k miles
Cobra jet intake
:broken-heart:

Also, anybody have the bolt sizes and torque specs for the trans?

RST or Mantic if you can swing it. My motto is never replace a broken part with another mediocre part. Always upgrade.

Mantic may be out of my price range , what’s a full setup with flywheel go for? Fuck it might as well go balls out right? Lol

I believe its $1800 including flywheel and throw out bearing. RST plus flywheel is $1000 and change plus another $140 for throw out bearing. So there is a gap but man that Mantic and that coke carrying case is sick...ha

I literally smell an RST in my near future. I ran a C7 from a dig yesterday and when I pulled over I could smell clutch material. It is definitely starting to slip with the big meats I have on the rear end now. But I won, so there is that bright side :-)

Nah. You will be fine. You can always swap it out later. If you tracked you car (road course) it would be very beneficial. If you don't then you honestly won't notice the difference. The OE line is stout, but as the fluid gets hot is has a tendency to expand more and more and can cause a soft clutch feel. Just get one when you can and upgrade. I run the guts out of my car, and I still haven't upgraded mine. It is on my short list though.

Yeah, they aren't too bad to man-handle. Just be safe and phone a friend.
