Over here in the UK I was running a Solo Mach THunder then swapped out the mid section for the Solo Race version, just an X pipe, which gave more noise.
I have just added on a Whipple Stage 2 and Xforce LT headers. The sound with the current Solo race mid section is just insane, it's gone from loud to just nuts and to be honest, it's not nice.
I am going to reinstall the Thunder mid section I have with small resonator but if that is still way too nuts I would be keen to know what to try next. I am considering going the full Xforce Varex Cat back to match up with the Xforce headers as they will allow me to control the noise but not that keen on spending nigh on £2000 with duty and tax for another system. With the smaller resonator in place not sure how much that will take it down by but keen to know if anyone else has gone SC and headers route only to find the current exhaust has gone from loud to painful!
