so as its works out Lebonon ford has a 17 stage 1 with 23k miles on it lightning blue base pp for sale that got traded in only concerns are.
clutch being ok and thats a lot of damn miles for one yr of ownership.
my car is a base gt,lowered with axle backs and 19x9.5 with 275/35 rims/tires..very well takin care of she only has 8200 miles.
any problems with the roush tvs system, what should i be looking for .new to the s/c thing, or should i just wait and boost mine next yr

guess im kinda looking for input on the setup, clutch lasting, and so on. before i drive to ohio from phila..

any input would be much appreciated

cost wise you will probably be better off keeping and boosting yours. in my opinion the roush setup is only good for being able to get the extended warranty. if no warranty might as well just pay them to put twins on.

What are they asking for it? Your car is a known quantity. You could probably imagine with those miles and whats on the car it may have been flogged a bit. I agree with the other poster.

$33K is not an bad price but I saw a new, '17 PP advertised for $28K the other day. Livernois Motorsports advertises a Phase 1 TVS kit for something like $7,800, installed so you could replicate it in a new car for +/- $36K. If you're paying more than $10K to trade-up, I'd pass.

it might be a deal but you would be taking on risk. For similar money, you could install a S/C on your current car.

$26K is a good trade number. Dealer not far from me has 4 or 5 new '17, base GT's advertised at $26,790+++

If you're not financing any negative equity into the new deal, looks like a pretty good swap.....at 23K miles on a '17, depending on how much you drive, should give you at least a year of B2B warranty remaining....good luck!

I would stick to your car for aforementioned reasons. As far as gearing. I have a 3.31 base GT, was going to switch to 3.73, but after SC the car I'm glad I didn't. I barely have 2nd gear as is, and traction. I've seen many people revert to 3.31 even with pp after SC. My PC stage 2 was full bolt on. Use the same amount that would be your difference and stage 2 PC, make almost 100 extra hp on a p1x...

wouldnt be doing any negative equity,id break even . and i only drive about 6500 miles a yr.so id still have little over a yr left on the pt warranty.
plus my thinking is its a pp car. that in itself is a higher jump then my car .we did numbers and with nothing down and trade my payment is the same as what i have now on a base

You need drag radials then. I can hook 2nd with 3.73s and 800whp.

Lmao, that would be great advice if it wasn't my DD, lived in Florida with the ever chance of rain and/or wanted to replace my tires every 3k miles. I am, however, looking into the Michelin PS4 though, I hear they are great. A bit of compromise between traction and durability
