Nice dude! Congrats! That is a sick Cobra by the way too, I love those cars. If you ever want to give me a ride in it I would not say no, lol.

My dealer called to let me know mine should be there today or Mon, Tues

Oh yeah and MSRP!
The anticipation has GOT to be killing you - as it did/does all of us!

Anytime I'm in the area with the Cobra, brother!

Outstanding purchase price especially in your neck of the country.

Also terrific color combination.

Going to be a fun ride!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks PP0001... I think it was you who very early on advised me to determine IF an allocation actually existed on this MSRP deal. Even though it was confirmed several times over, it somehow 'disappeared' over the next 14+ months as I waited, patiently. But, in the end the new owner(s) were granted an R allocation because they doubled their sales volume, and then made good on the previous owner's MSRP deal - THAT is the sign of a fair dealer.

Cool story about you being persistent and also being diligent after that long period of time as many would have walked away and bought elsewhere probably with an ADM.

Certainly happy it all worked out in the end!

Very encouraging to hear stories such as yours and kudos also to your dealership for honoring the previous owners commitment!!

Good to see you were prepared with the 7' Race Ramps. Besides sitting extremely low these cars are also much wider than most. Tough to get them in, out and strapped down in a trailer. Congrats on your new ride.

Thanks, Shadow!

I have exactly 1.5" on either side between the R wheels and trailer inner fenders. Talk about a tight fit! I have yet to install a front tow hook, so I use a mini-J hook "Y" tow strap (per Ford) to winch it on and off. There's no way to get in and out of the car once on the trailer without climbing through a window and possibly damaging the paint in the process. The Cobra is a piece of cake

Finally, my R arrived last week - for MSRP - from Redwood Ford in Ukiah, CA... 62 miles north of Hansel Ford - (who wanted $40k ADM a year ago...)

New ownership - Brent Eddy and sales manager Kevin Reedy - if they get a 2018 allocation for an R you may not get the same deal - but they've been good to me so it doesn't hurt to see what they can do for you.
That is quite the pair you have there sir! Gorgeous LB R; love it w/the stripes.
And ...that Cobra, well, simply stunning !

I have no explanation for the logistics, ask your dealer what their tracker says, my cotus was right on the money after the car went in transit. The dealer can track down to what carrier its on. This is assuming you're going by truck and not rail. There are guys waiting on cars way before mine that are all on rail. So don't feel too bad, I've been through quite the ride getting this car, I'll outline all of that in a later post once I get pics.

Thank you sir, once the plant went to a single shift they were building pretty much nothing but Shelby's. They still fell short on the 999, which obviously meant they never intended to make 999, I barely made the cut at 912 out of the 942 but I'm grateful that I did. Especially not being able to get the black roof and stripes for 2018.

You have to love the way the red pops between the black strips and blue paint. What, no black roof option for 2018?
