I went to OSW wednesday night. I now have vikings and rlca bearings. Best 60' was tires at 16, shocks 4c/7r, stall 1500 and stand on it. 1.87 sixty and 12.05 @116. DA was -456

I also learned the tires a bit. I realized that i can feel them start to pull the motor down a little when they are ready (about 2 sec longer burnout than i had been doing)

These autos are a little more tricky than I thought too. Came from racing a manual car for about 10 years. But wanted something simple, cheap and got tired of breaking things. So went auto lol.

Thats an improvement. It's still cold out. Don't be afraid to drop the pressure some more. Should hit 11s very soon.

I just dont understand how its not in 11s already. i will admit im not familiar with 1/8 times and i maybe be lacking in general up to the 1/8 but in my experience a 1.8 60' with a 116 trap should easily go 11s...

I've cut a 1.77 60ft twice on the stock stall and 235/50r18 on my GT 5.0. I have a few questions, as most of my times are 1.89-1.95 on a decent tire. I can do 2.0 60fts rolling into it on street tires. I purchased a relay kit to install a transbrake on my car. How can you run a 1.7 60ft consistently on a 6r80 with a stock converter? On R888s which hooked IMO, with high 1.89-1.91 stalling the car to 2500 and letting go of the brake. It felt a bog, but bringing the rpms to 1500 and flooring it didn't make me go faster. So what am I doing wrong? Should I install the transbrake, and try it? Or do I just need to man up, and buy a converter? If I wanted 1.4-1.6 I would say a converter. Im just looking to get what myself and many others are supposed to get. I also noticed in 1st gear, my car only flows 37 pounds of air, but in 3rd It flows 49.04? Could it be some type of management controlling this? Maybe I'm over thinking it, as UP tuners has disabled those? All help is appreciated.
