Will there be a 2018? Or did they double 17's numbers to make up for not building them in '18?

That would solve the problem of how to deal with the mandated back-up camera for MY'18 cars. Just build them early and call them '17s.

Double the number of units from 2016? I'll believe it after the numbers are in for 17. But if there are all of a sudden more R's available, then this could explain it.

If the 1000 units were true 2017's and ending in September, and not pseudo-2018's, wouldn't we be seeing pretty high chassis number plates by now? What R plate are we up to?
