Ford Nationals 2018 (May 31st - June 3rd)

Mustang6G is a registered club at Ford Nationals 2018. When you register, please choose "Mustang6G" under the Car Clubs as we get perks (Tent), if we have a certain number of members attend.

Mustang6G.com will hold a Meet & Greet Saturday, June 2nd:

got my ticket! Can't wait! This was my favorite show last year.

I'm still going to attempt to do a meetup after the show Saturday if everyone is interested.

I'd like to do it again this year as it's very spacious and easy to find.

I was there last year and no one showed up! I think I was late though :( I am excited as I will be bringing my new Mustang, cant wait to show off the whipple hoping that gives me a better chance at winning young guns addle:

We had about 10 or so in our group (not sure of the exact car count) but we had a nice table outside there.

I plan to go there again as long as no one objects.

I will do my best to get there on time this year... LOL. spend too much time at the showgrounds and back at my hotel and was late to the meetup

I tried registering online over the weekend. Kept getting errors processing my payment. Gonna give them a call today and try to get done over the phone. Hope they still honor the discount, as I noticed others having issues via the FB group.

I've called their team members plenty of times for various reasons and I've received nothing but good experiences.

I hope they will do the same for you.

What are the best hotel choices for this event? last year I stayed at econolodge since most were booked and that place was a shithole.... not trying to stay there again LOL

The closest Hotels to the Show in Carlisle are normally $200+/night.

I stayed here last year and it was great. I plan to stay here again (although it's ~20mins from the Show).

It's close to the Freeway to take into Carlisle and not a ton of people were staying there last year. If a bunch of Mustang6G.com members stay here, we'd probably take over the place:

Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Shippensburg
120 Walnut Bottom Road
Shippensburg, PA 17257

It's very clean and I was impressed.

EDIT (4/10/2018):

It is roughly ~$175/night but that's ~$100 savings over staying someplace closer.

Not that I'm aware of, but we watched it last year and the price did fluctuate daily depending on when we looked so we booked on a Tuesday/Wednesday since that seemed to the be the cheapest days for booking (like flights).

We stayed Friday & Saturday last year. We may stay Thursday/Friday/Saturday this year.

If you're going with a friend, I'd ask them if they have a Holiday Inn discount card.
