A few people have asked to see how the 18 graph compares to the 15 graph. This is Revolution Autos stock 2015 GT vs my 2018 GT on the same dyno. Both 6 speed manual performance pack cars.

I gather these are both totally stock? Not even a cat back?

Average of 30-40 ft-lbs (up to ~50 in the midrange) across the entire band. That seems to explain the speed. The '18 is noticeably less peaky up top, having nearly the same power from 120 to 145 mph.

My 18 had an X pipe resonator delete on it but made pretty much the same as most of the other 18s. Besides that both were bone stock.

Love how the 18 does not drop off power wise up top and a much stronger mid range. :)

The 15-17 has more hp tq in the low range the 18 probably wont feel much different maybe sluggish when just daily driving from looking at the graphs?! Unless you wind it up on the street.

The 18 has the 15-17 beat everywhere in the RPM range, at no singe point has the 15-17 got more power or torque, unless I am reading the graph completely wrong???

That is why both are SAE corrected. My 2018 made 435 uncorrected that day but I didn't post that since it wouldn't be consistent with others.

According to these numbers if you don't want to spend the extra on an 18, a 17 with PP2 will perform equally well.

Exactly. And isn't this kinda what Ford did to get these numbers? Just added the PP2?

Ummm...

Here's all the things they did:
Displacement is up over 5.0L instead of just under 5.0L (slightly larger bore)
Added direct injection in addition to the port fuel injection, allows for power power and...
12:1 compression vs. 11:1
Different cams
Spray bore cylinder liners like the GT350 and previous GT500

No, they didn't just add PP2. A Ford PP2, just like what Lund, VMP, AED, Livernois, etc. will get even more on top of the gains the '18 has over the 15-17.

Great Dyno chart!

The 18 is impressive! Especially mid range and that top end!:ford:
