I have the original BMRs - I like their length and girth. It's like the best of both worlds. That said, with increased rigidity of todays unibody cars, I don't believe that "strength" comes into play anymore like it did years back when these would actually be called subframe connectors... They are now aptly named "jacking rails", as that's the purpose they serve and I don't think they need to be as big as the first gen BMRs, unless that makes it more convenient to jack up your car. I do like the boxed ends that are squared to the ground on the bigger BMRs.

Guys is there anyone noticing any added chassis rigidity with these rails or is there some extra components required to tie them in?

Just installed my BMR's last week. Very nice pieces but I did not notice any extra rigidity.

Thanks everyone! Both our CJR001 and our CJR002 are very popular pieces, and lately the GT350 owners have been buying them like crazy! No surprise there, BMR and Shelby Mustangs has proven to been a killer combo for the past 10 years.

I would not recommend trying to improve rigidity on this chassis. Too much weight gain for very little performance gain. If you install the jacking rails I would use them and consider them a convenience modification over all else.

Our CJR002 which are becoming our most popular, average 51.5" in length of which is ALL jacking surface area. As I type this, they are definitely a significant amount longer than theirs. There was a comparison of both in the GT suspension section, where the poster decided to keep ours. One of his primary reasons was due to ours being much longer. ;)

Someone mentioned a code. We do offer the code FS6KA for forum members.

Thanks again for all the support!!!

My comment above about not increasing chassis rigidity, I meant via tying floorpan and main body areas together.

Connecting the front and rear subframes and/or increasing rigidity of those components will provide a better ROI than tying the floorpan / tunnel together, etc.

The code provides free shipping, so I am not sure why you had that issue.

I just used it, and it definitely knocked the shipping off.

Sorry about that, but thanks for your support!

I suspect you will enjoy them. Let me know if you need any further assistance

Of course. BMR is 13.75lbs for the pair.

I believe they claim 12lbs for theirs.
