From what I can see you do a lot of visual mods. Might be better to stick with those for now.

I ordered the FRPP strut tower brace and cowl brace recently. The package did not come with any hardware. So I purchased some and they were the wrong ones and broke the bolt in the strut tower. Had to drill them out as others have mention and replace them. Very stressful job!

I didn't search. Don't flame. Was putting the steeda strut bar on and snapped a tower bolt. What do i do?
You'll be all good, it may cost you a little for someone to fix it but you got a bunch of good advice in this thread. Take it to a TRUSTED mechanic or the dealership and they'll take care of it for you.

BmacIL are those the 4 nuts that are supposed to be with the Ford tower to tower/cowl to tower braces? If so, I need those as no nuts came with my cowl to tower brace (not bracing tower to tower).
Yes. They came with my kit.

Obviously if I'm too retarded to install an easy mod, lol, what is my alternative?
Leave the car in Pilsen for a few nights then collect on the insurance?

Seems odd you are snapping at such low torque.
Is your torque wrench calibrated?

I don't trust the click style torque wrench at the lower settings. It is very common to miss the click and over torque. You are better off using a beam style torque wrench at lower values. You should be able to drill it out using a center punch and a a few good drill bits starting smaller and going larger.

Believe it or not, I was helping a friend install this bar on his Ecoboost and the exact same thing happened (and he was using a torque wrench) haha

I remember thinking "that's a little tight for 40 ft./lbs and then I heard it snap.

Good thing I wasn't working the torque wrench at that time.

Seems like it happens rather frequently to be messed up torque wrenches.

Once is coincidence, twice is happenstance, three times is enemy activity.

Seems there's something off here, either with the torque spec or the bolts themselves.
