From what I've read, the GT350 oil pan is composite, and doesn't transmit heat very well. I'm not sure that's 100% true, but it might be a consideration to the OP.Looks like a pretty painless job, lower the k member or raise the engine a bit and pull the pan.
I would either do the canton road race pan or the GT350.
How many quarts does that hold?I did the canton road race pan, no issues.
That's probably true, but I can't imagine there's alot of heat transferred from the oil to the pan itself. Plus that's what an oil cooler is for. From what I've read, the GT350 oil pan is composite, and doesn't transmit heat very well. I'm not sure that's 100% true, but it might be a consideration to the OP.

yeah but, you dont want to go too big. you cant fit a dump truck in most driveways.I need that...
Sure you can, you just have to leave two wheels in the bushes.yeah but, you dont want to go too big. you cant fit a dump truck in most driveways.
Pull enough sideways g in a long corner and your oil pickup can starve making for much sadness. I doubt I'll manage that without downforce, but my porsche buddy is convinced that I'm going to blow my engine with just sticky R888s, even at button willow or willow springs. I may also just be enjoying mucking about with my car far too much. What's the purpose of doing this?
you want to park your car part ways in the dirt? how unsatisfying.Sure you can, you just have to leave two wheels in the bushes.
