I clipped the wires off a couple used power supplies that have the same size and style plug. I cut them right at the transformer, so I had the most wire length possible. I then just soldered those wires onto the motors.

Another piece of advice, if the cutouts don't work initially, check the adapter pins inside. I had to spread them out a bit to get good contact.
Ok on all of that. I will post updates when I finish around mid May. Work will be getting in the way for awhile. Thanks again.

So I just did this on my 2016 Roush stage 3. I used the same cutouts linked by the op but I used a different control. The install went fine. Only issue I ran into was the driver side cutout was hitting the inside of the muffler not allowing it to open. All said and done I have around $76 total in the set up.

Were you able to adjust the position of the cutout to eliminate the interference? Mine have plenty of room to move them around and center them up.

Well I'll be F#$%ed.

I've wanted the Roush Active exhaust ever since I ordered my car a year ago. The $2,000 (AUD) price tag on the Active component put me off and I've been struggling to find a cheaper option.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to share this mod with the community :)

You can upload photos directly to the forum under manage attachments and there is a webhosting site for photos I just don't remember at the moment.

The valves move as long you press the button (regardless to open or close)?
Is there an indication when the valves are fully closed/open?
Is there a safety that protects the valve motors if I accidently continue to press the button after it has move fully closed/open?

Yes, the buttons on the remote are momentary. If you let go, the valves will stop moving.

Is there an indication when the valves are fully closed/open?
No indication with my setup other than looking at them.

Not that I'm aware of.

I'll see what I can do about adding attachments to this thread.
