got my kooks lt installed and i had the extreme catback prior to install. love the sound. it is LOUD . there is a little more rasp around 2700-3000 rpms then i was hoping. does anyone have sports on? does it do the same? i like the volume with the extremes. how much quieter are the sports?

Sports + headers is quite close on volume to just the Xtreme catback on stock headers. Also less raspy, but a surprisingly similar tone, too.

i dont want to give up the volume to much. it sounds like the sport is higher pitch and extremes are deeper. per videos anyway.that true?

Other way around, for sure.

I have the sports with ARH direct connect 3". The sound is amazing, I get the looks when I want them and can keep it quiet enough when I want. Sports are definitely deeper sounding. The sound doesn't distort with Corsa, just clean, crisp exhaust tone, I love it!

I have the Corsa Sport mufflers and Mishimoto H-pipe for sale, if you are interested. Less than 500 miles on them.

yote41 I'll be able to comment on kooks catted LT's and corsa sports and can get you a sound clip as of next Saturday. I'll be picking up my ride from Ohio then. I already had corsa sports, but adding kooks with all the other stuff

Take my word for it, Although it sounds sinister.... Go with sports. If you dont like it and want more. Ill trade you the extremes straight up lol

Both long tubes and an X-pipe really bring out the rasp/trumpeting sound. Stock headers and an X-pipe has noticeably more rasp even with the Touring Exhaust -which is a nice balance of being loud but not droning or obnoxious. Long Tubes are pretty obnoxious. Awesome but obnoxious. Then again tolerance is relative.
