I want to add an oil catch can to my 17 GT w/PP on the passenger side. Not sure which brand to go with. I did see a review/comparison video of the JLT vs the UPR and the JLT had significantly more oil while the UPR had more condensation/water. I just want to make sure whatever I get does the job well.

What brand do you go with? Was it a matter of buying the cheapest or was there a specific reason you went with that brand?

Thanks

I went with the Bob's Ultimate catch can because I have a weakness for AN fittings and braided hose.

I got a good deal on the JLT can. I doubt there can be too much of a drastic performance between the different catch cans and I liked how JLT hides in plain sight and uses factory fittings. Also super easy to just unscrew the bottom and empty out.

I have a JLT on my Mustang and an Elite on Vette.

If I had it to do over again, I would buy the Ford one, just because it would look factory, but have no intentions of changing it.

I went with JLT, some of them look like a pain in the butt to empty.

I went with JLT also I liked the easy install and ease of emptying plus I have a Ecoboost and wanted it on the drivers side (dirty side),price didn't hurt either :)

How much blow by do you guys see on the Coyote 5.0? I was curious about this. I know these are a no brainer for boosted cars, but the V8?

Ford Performance here.

I like the filter design and mounting the best (it looks like it was engineered, instead of cobbled together from home depot scraps), and the capacity is HUGE. It only really needs to be checked/drained when you do an oil change. Its also lightweight.

I'm sure some of the others work well, but the Ford part got my dollar.

I went with JLT for my coyote due to easy design. Can drain it easily and also install was easy.

I did just get it about 3 weeks ago so I haven't checked it yet.

I don't plan on getting one but I'd go with the Ford Performance one if I did.

JLT is about as easy as it gets to install and maintain, this is what I have.

That said, I hear a lot of good things about UPR.

I bought the UPR can for my 17 PP because i liked that the lines were braided and not just hard plastic and because of UPR's top notch ratings over the years.
