Does your engine "Fart"

I was finishing installing the steeda lockout reverse collar yesterday after starting the car to get the A/C running

Standing in front of the car prying glue from pleather I hear the strangest sound. "Phrmmt"

What could it be? New exhaust ? I just don't know. It happened again maybe 5 more times in the course of 10 minutes.

It didn't sound like it was coming from the exhaust but directly from the engine.

Anyone?

My 2016 GT and Dad's 2012 F350 make weird "sighing" noises when the AC cycles. My 2013 F150 doesn't, nor did our 2014 Focus. Is it possible that's what you're hearing?

Do you have an aftermarket intake?

I have an EB with aftermarket exhaust. Sounds like a thousand angry wet farts.

My engine doesn't, but I do when I'm out of the car. Gotta take care of that Premier trim!

After I installed Flowmaster 40's, it farts on the overrun at low revs, when's it's at the edge between fuel cut-off and back on. Also around 65 in fifth, when I let off and get back on, there's a momentary brraap that's intoxicatingly exotic.

it pops at idle kinda like gas is brewing the bowels and then one PhtttttttTTTTT fart coming out the tail pipe while the turbo's going phsssssSSSSTTTT then a PFFFfffft pop pop pop during the gear shifting.

When the BPV is open and the waist gate is close it sounds like the grinding metal of a spinning bar stool with a fat chick on top if it from all the resonance and air moving around

My exhaust snaps crackle and pops sometimes. The pop could be a fart(?).

You guys are all a**holes. This had me laughing so hard I woke up the girl. She's not very happy at the moment. :doh:
