Buttonwillow 13CW last weekend with Speed Ventures. 100% stock, unmodified. Racing the the turbo Supermiata in S1 so I only did one session in the GT350. Finally got a clean lap without traffic then bobbled the last turn. Drat! Tires were a bit too hot by then. Checkered flag out so that was it for the day. Still a 1:59.7 in 80* weather. Guessing a clean lap on cooler tires in cool weather would be a mid 1:57. Bone stock here. R splitter and wing, DSC shock controller, 305 RS4's all here and waiting to go on. We'll go back in a a few weeks and see what it will do.

Making me jelous, love how high that car revs! Great driving too, what tires were you using?

With your mods, you should drop at least a few seconds I'm sure. What wheels are the RS4's going on?

Car was 100% stock for the lap in the video. RS4's on P6GR's for now. We are developing 6UL's for the GT350 and other S550's. Those should be shipping Q1/18.

Below is a CAD rendering of an early engineering version. Final 6UL will be a tad different but this gives you an idea.

949Racing any hints as to the fitment specs available? I'd love for there to be availability of 10.5" & 11" to match stock GT350 wheels... for reasons :)

We have a thread in the wheel section. But yes the first 6UL wheels for the S550 will be the exact dimensions of the 350R wheels. We might be able to do a 19 x 10 for the regular S550 with the same tooling.

What mode/shock settings were you in? I assume all off and track shocks? Nice driving.

Whoops, thought I was posting in there. My bad, apparently got sidetracked and posted in the wrong thread.

I took my R there but on PS4S tires and heavier aftermarket wheels (not the carbon wheels). Wanted to go on more street tires to see how it did to compare to some other cars I’ve had.
. Ran 1:58:7. I’ll go back fully stock and see how I do on the carbon wheels and cup2 tires

Damn all you guys and your sub-2 minute times! Kosherstogie, what size tires were you using?

I'm definitely hoping for a sub-2 next time I go in November with Global Time Attack.
