I'm no expert when it comes to tires or wheels. I know the square can be rotated so they will last longer, but with the staggered setup I can run bigger tires in the rear for more grip...and they look better. However, I daily drive my car, about 5,000-7,000 miles a year. I realize that's not much, but would I still be better off going with a square setup? 19x10 vs. 19x10/11? How much difference in the life of tire will being able to rotate it make?

Life of tires do not change when you rotate or not. You merely redistribute the wear more evenly. You replace all four tires at the same time when you run square and rotate instead of just two at a time with staggered setup.

my 15 put down 420whp sae and i ran 275 square PSS with zero traction issues even from a dead stop. i don't think you need super wide tires unless you're FI or buy crappy tires lol. Superior compound is better than mediocre compound that has a wider contact patch IMO. The only reason I would go staggered is for looks (and it does look good). If you're only driving 5-7k miles a year though a staggered setup would probably last you 3 years though, so it's no big deal to go staggered.

If all you're doing is street driving and care more about form than function, go staggered and enjoy the beef.

If you want to do HPDE and rotate tires to help equalize wear, go with a square setup.

You can rotate staggered side to side just make sure the tread is not directional.

Square all day long, every day, including holidays. Frankly I'm miffed that the 2018 PP comes with staggered tires again. The whole 255 up front and 275 in the back thing confuses me. Just make it 275 all around so folks who already dumped $45K on a "people's hot rod" don't have to run themselves into the ground with tires.

So if you don't rotate, then they develop uneven wear, which means they will need to be replaced sooner than they otherwise would, which means the tire life is effectively shortened....

The real factor is how your driving and what tires you will be using.

I just purchased a Square 20x10 Sporza Topaz setup. The offsets are different for front and back, so i will only be able to rotate side to side. I think spacers would be required to run the same offset 10" wide wheels all around. I went with 275/35/20 MPS AS3+ tires. Very happy with how the car drives. Tire noise is about the same as the P-zero's.

What specs are the wheels?

Little if any snow driving, but I drive it almost everyday in the winter, including in rain.

Those are the tires I plan to run. I was looking at 285 though and they will be on a 19" wheel. It seems like the MPS AS3+ are a good year round tire for those of us in colder climates.

Also, is 285/35 a good fit for a 19x10 wheel? I like when the tire sidewall is flush with the wheel rather then stretching or having it bulge. Would I be better off with a 275?
