And for my 50th question of the week... :D I've been thinking about getting a pressure washer, my water pressure from the hose is terrible and it takes forever to rinse my car, and it would be nice to get a foam cannon. Do I need electric, or is gas ok. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't have a garage, so I end up washing my car a lot.

I used my gas one for the foam cannon when i still used it. Straight onto the car i feel like it was too powerful. Especially because the low settings on my wands "broke".

Yeah, I'm worried a gas one might be too powerful for a car. Plus the electric ones are cheaper, quieter, and don't require filling up with gas.

Electric is the way to go for washing cars. More than enough pressure and very quiet compared to a gas. My dad has a Sunjoe as well and it has stood up to multiple tasks including pressure washing his driveway and vinyl siding. I hope to get one this Christmas.

Significant (and recent, and positive) experience with the Sun Joe pressure washer company compels me to steer you to them! The unit - and the support from the manufacturer - is OUTSTANDING.

I bought a Craftsman electric from the local Ace Hardware a few years back. Works great. Has a foam nozzle and a tank for the soap. I think its a 1700 psi. The foam part works great. I think it was only 129.00.

Karcher k1900 - induction motor. Quieter and more reliable than the sun joe and others for electric
Gas motors will give you the best foam but it’s drawback is gas and noise. If you go gas, gas tend to have a low dip switch and if you use a 40 degree nozzle you’ll be fine.

That is the same exact pressure washer I have. It works great with my foam cannon.

So any recommendations on a gas one? Want to be able to wash my car and clean my driveway with the same product. Looking at the Ryobi one from Home Depot.

I have a riding mower, gas trimmer, push mower, and gas blower so one more gas device isn't going to hurt me.

I have a gas blower...
What kind of S550 owner are you?!

The choice is clear; drill & tap the pipe on the blower and install a Snow Performance WMI injection system! You can strap the reservoir on your back (filled with the cleaner of your choice), and hold the vac hose between your lips. That way you can control the injection nozzle by 'sipping' at the hose! It's a no-brainer!

And you can fill your reservoir with pure alcohol and - using a simple cigarette lighter - take the machine to Burning Man and blast jets of fire into the night sky!

Am I the only one who thinks outside the box here?!
