What did you start the Koni's at?Just drove it home. Handles great, rides great, ride height is perfect. The BMR cb005 really seems to make a big difference from what I've noticed so far.
I think he set them at half which is 1.25 turns? He said he normally sets them at half then I can go up or down depending on how it rides. It was a lot less harsh than I was expecting, obviously firmer than stock, but not bad at all over the bumps on my ride home. What did you start the Koni's at?
Yessir! That is why it is likely THE most popular S550 IRS mod :cheers:The BMR cb005 really seems to make a big difference from what I've noticed so far.
I measured the front drop at .6" after the install and the rear at .2", though it may have been slightly more, I forgot I had all my new suspension stuff still in the trunk when I took the measurement beforehand. I thought the rear would drop a bit more, but I'm very happy with the drop, the rake, and the handling. I would definitely throw a BMR cb005 on while you're doing the springs.OP, can you post more pictures of your car? I have the exact same setup (black non PP on 20" foundrys) and I'm trying to figure out what suspension components would be best for better ride and a drop.
Clocked the rear bushings?I measured the front drop at .6" after the install and the rear at .2", though it may have been slightly more, I forgot I had all my new suspension stuff still in the trunk when I took the measurement beforehand. OK thanks, Good to know. The overall look is good I think, with a very slight rake towards the front. The front use to look higher than the rear when stock. The CB005 can make it look like it doesn't drop as much in the rear. That's how it is on my car.
No, never too late. If you have ramps that give you enough room, you can back it onto them and do it. Otherwise you can put it on stands and take the wheels off and compress the suspension. This is probably why it only dropped 0.2". It should be close to 0.4". It'll also ride better. No, is it too late to do that? I'll have to get my friend to give me a hand, I have no idea how to do it.

You just have to take the torque off all the points with rubber in them or have the "biting" faces (inner points, outer toe point), compress the suspension to ride height and re-torque. The CB005 will not, in any significant or measurable way, change your ride height.
