Typically when direct injection gets added to a car then 93 octane becomes a requirement.
where did you hear this from? or are you spreading BS because your bored? BMW's have had direct injection for years and they require 91

We are truly living in a golden age of performance cars. I'm 46 and remember as a kid having a Vector poster on my wall with a posted 0-60 number of 3.9 seconds. Even then, the car was over $200K. It did the quarter mile in 12 flat. Testarossas were doing it in over 14 seconds. The quarter mile king was the ZR1 in like 13.6 seconds. The fact that this "every man's" car can put up these numbers is just amazing.
We gotta get Lamboghini test-drive Max Venturi to do some 0-60 runs in the 2018 Mustang. See what it can really do.

Am I reading correctly that the GT Premium with MT now comes standard with 3.55? Doesn't the 2017 GT Premium with MT come with 3.31?

Other than the other tech advancements the EBM power specs are what I expected, nothing you could not do with a current gen and a tune =)

Correct. They got rid of 3.31s for manual GTs (probably due to the new gearing in the revised MT-82-D4 transmission)

Never did, still own a 2015 and happy with it.

Just amazing what those fanboyz who think their poo dont stank can imagine up.

Awww the poor guys over at slowmaro6g must be all
2ss already does 0-60 in 4.0s and it get's a facelift next year too. So I wouldn't brag with these number too loud if all you care about is a 0-60 time. Imho the Mustang still has to proof how fast it will be, not just in a straight line. Remember that Camaro was already headed against a new BMW M4 and was on par, you shouldn't try that with a 2015 GT. Can't wait for first 2018 reviews!

(I actually love both cars, Stang and Camaro)

That was my concern. For many it's a non-issue, but with the mileage I drive...being able to run 87 octane without affecting much power is a huge saver.

Wow......I never knew. I would have thought the GT350R was around 3.5 0-60.

Jesus, if the 2018 GT is just as fast............
The GT350's low end and consequently its ability to rip out of the hole, is genuinely abysmal. Not unlivable but certainly disappointing, that is if one cares about such things.
