My fabricator just finished a track inspired Burns Stainless x-pipe I wanted to show to the community. Dustin Weinand has a tone of experience with SCCA and several other circuits. I wanted an x-pipe that truly merged the exhaust. This literally plugged right into the factory exhaust and sounds freakin awesome.

Would like to hear some clips under load. Too bad those aren't mandrel bends.

I like to disassemble things.
Ever see the inside of two mandrel bent pipes where they were fused together? The welds are nowhere as near as nice as the ones on/in the Burns X pipe. That is some extremely well done fabrication.

It will only ever be as good as the quality of fabricator. I was just making an observation from a fluid dynamics standpoint.

i wasnt referring to the flow dynamics, more so to the comment of the inability of not being able to achieve good welds on mandrel bent x-pipes

That looks really great. Who did the work? I am in San Diego as well and have been looking for a good fabricator.
