We don't see next week either, but we sure make plans for it...
That applies to what and how? You lost me on that response lol. I’m not arguing but in my experience they usually only pick up a few pounds similar to a pulley swap. Just with less odds of belt slip. If he got the results he was after awesome.

paxton 2200sl max rpm is 60,000

15% over driven is a 9.2 inch dia pulley

so here are the results:

CrankDiameter = 9.2
9.2

SuperchargerPulleyD = 3.47
3.47

Stepupratio = 3.61
3.61

MaxRPM = 7500
7,500

SuperchargerRPM = (((CrankDiameter/SuperchargerPulleyD)*Stepupratio)*MaxRPM)
71,783.861671

Looks like 11000 rpm over to me, You gonna tell me Jpc 's math is wrong to?
Lots of things wrong with this. First, 2200SL is only rated to 52,000 RPM. 60,000 is for the oil fed, non SL version. Second, the stock crank pulley is 6.78” in diameter. Not sure where you found another 2.5” to come up with 9.2. The 15% overdrive is 7.795”. 9.2 would be a 35% overdrive, which doesn’t exist to my knowledge. Plugging in the correct crank diameter gives you 60,646 RPM. Still overspinning, not quite 11,000 RPM, and definitely not 24lbs.

So basically the figures I had were correct. Lol. Besides, he was only spinning to 6800 from what you posted before, not 7500.

Looks like I’m gonna be over spinning the blower a little. What should I expect and what should I keep an eye on. I drove it around today. Definitely needs a tune revision. I plan on wastegating down to safe levels. What springs do you guys recommend?

I did your #’s and your 11000 rpm over its max. You wont hurt it. Is your motor built? What power is it making now?

I did the numbers as well. I got close to 5000 at 7500. What calculator are you using? Engine is stock except OPG and crank gears. It made 738 before this mod.

ATI 20% OD balancer is 8.074 dia. ATI 15% OD balancer is 7.795 dia. Auto cars seem to last longer then stick cars but overspin your blower that much and get ready to eventually send your headunit back to Vortech for a major rebuild. Convert to oil fed if you want to push max PWR...

Lots of info out there! JPC website has the 20% 7.88. Either way it’s on the car. Lol. Send it!

I haven’t researched converting to oil fed. Tell me more

I over spin mine (2200sl) by 23,000rpms give or take 1000.
Haven't had any problems as of yet, just hits like a PD blower now. 20% OD, 3.00 pulley to 7800rpms. I'm gated on 12lbs for 93, then gated on 15lbs for e85. No pulley swaps just press buttons on my boost controller to where I please. Put it on 18lbs for kill mode

That’s bad ass. I was thinking about a boost controller. Seems a lot easier than changing springs out. Which one do you have?
