S550 Rear Sway Bar Delete: IRS Video Footage During Drag Race

Figured you guys would enjoy this under-car footage of the S550 IRS / Suspension during a 10-Second drag strip pass with a 1.4 sixty foot time.

Notice the rear sway bar is removed. :cheers:

Likely a car with double his power level.

I will guess and say it was one of our customers, Randy Thomas, who has a wicked GT500.

Just to clarify, Randy Thomas runs, Steeda Hardcore Adjustable Race lower Control arms, Steeda Hardcore Adjustable upper mount and Upper control arm.

Interesting. I would have thought it would have left a little more uneven. It always amazes me how different cars will like different things.

What BMR parts are on this car and whats the benifit removing swap bar ?

We have not seen any body roll issues on launching with the S550

My best sixty foot time to date (1.284) was with no rear sway bar.

Alot of BMR. It does not have our Toe Links yet.

The benefit for him is weight savings. :cheers:
