I've got a complete rockford setup. Punch all the way around. Rockford P3 and rockford prime amps. I see your in AZ. Got everything setup at Slangin Sound in Mesa. Sounds pretty good. Bumps loud. The rockford setup is way louder than the kicker setup I have in my Ram.

What system are you powering it with, stock Shaker Pro?
Edit: Just saw you're running Rockford Amps. :(

Anyone running these with the stock Shaker or Shaker Pro set up?

Cool! I am up and down Power road all the time. Never been in that place, always looks busy.

Please let me know how you like them, literally every other 6.5" replacement people say they have even LESS mid bass.
I don't want that!

I read the advertised frequency response as 85-5kHz. Guessing that the 85 is the -3dB point. It doesn't go to low, I would be concerned about balancing it with the sub.

Got this (cryptic) reply from RF:
"Hi, they will not play very low as they are not designed for that application. They play 85-5k so you would have to do a HP crossover around 120 or higher so you would not get much midbass."

I'm replacing stock Shaker turd sub with 2 RF 10s in Zen box. I don't expect much low end from RF 6.5. What I do expect/hope is the speaker can handle whatever factory signal it gets without rattling and requiring me to turn the bass down on radio. If its strong, I may keep it, lose the center channel, and upgrade tweeter. Wish it wasn't 110F in the garage.

I would expect what they lack in low end they make up in efficiency. That being said you may have to cross your subs over higher than typical or risk losing the freqs in the 80-120 range. I believe that hole would be very audible. Any crossover above 80Hz for a sub, especially a larger driver may sound sloppy in that range...

Maybe, I know I won't have my sub x'd over 80hz. I'll see when its installed. My car will be tuned for my listening preferences, I'm not chasing some flat analyzer line. I am currently running with stock 6.5s disconnected.

Should subs be front or rear facing?
