Hit a rental yesterday, not sure I am happy with the results.

Couple caveats, this is the first time taking this car to a fully prepped 1/4 mile track, I have only ever played around with some 1/8 mile events on full street tires. This time was on MT SS street radials (305/35).

Best was 11.3@126, 1.85 60', 98mph in the 1/8

This was straight 93 octane, all whipple nannies turned off, shifting at 7500, stage 2 (upgraded exchanger), 3.625" pulley.

DA was about 1700.

I had a HELL of a time launching the car. Lots and lots of wheel hop, even during my burnouts. I have the Steeda braces, Steeda shocks and linear springs. If I didn't wheel hop I bogged badly. I think the way the car sits with a little cooler air it has a HIGH HIGH 10 in it, but I thought for sure I would in the 130's for MPH. I have not yet dyno'd the car.

The logs looked really clean, always adding 1-2 degrees of timing, was around 19-19.5 degrees timing the entire time.

Thoughts? Video below (ignore the end, he forgot to turn off his phone, thanks bro!)

What are you running for suspension? That thing looks low in the back.

Car seems strong, and it was hot yesterday!

Yea we did a track rental too, heat and da definitely killed some of your mph.A better 60 would help too.My car only ran a 10.81 and 131mph so i was a little disappointed too.My best 60 was 1.83 so i know i need a convertor.Try it again with some cool air and i think u will get a high 10.

I did 4 passes riding out 4th to the rev limiter and 3 shifting to 5th. All pretty much identical trap speeds. Shifting to 5th I got 2 passes that were 11.8 @128mph but also got a 2.1 60' on both of those, which is what I attribute the higher trap speed/higher ET to. The 11.3 best run was shifting to 5th with a better launch. Felt soo weird shifting hard into 5th but I got used to it. The new clutch and mgw definitely helped it all, never missed a shift the entire day :clap2:

Steeda linear springs (lowered about 1.5" in the back, about 1" up front), steeda shocks.

Shocks and suspension is 100% next mods, as well as dedicated track rim/tires.

moar suspension. look at the steeda stop the hop kit. you dont need everything in there but most of it will help. Id take out the adjustable toe links and do LCA bearings.

Thanks, agree, I already own the entire kit, just didn't get the time to install it all, I only installed the braces.

I could tell I need an alignment BADLY, over an 1" of the outside tread never touched the track, even at 20psi or so in the tires, way to much camber.

Bias ply tires will get the 60 down ....and less chance of you breaking something .

I hate bias ply, I am sure at some point I will succumb to running them, but for now I want to try a 305/45/18 ET street R setup. The walk at the top end of the track is just too much for my liking.

Assume auto and some sort of octane booster? That's some good times bud.
