Brake Caliper Decals

Maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing but I couldn't find much about this.

I plan to eventually paint my calipers with some G2 or something. Painting them orange.

1) If I wanted the "GT" on it, should I be using a sticker, or some sort of GT physical letters that I spray around it. Since they're orange I assume black would be the best color for the letters?

2) I have the base GT, so the front brake calipers are smaller. I'm still going to paint them, but would it look weird if I had a logo on there as well? Any pics?

I painted mine black with G2, and added a Stoptech sticker to mirror my rotors and pads.

I think they're physically the same size (and weigh a little more) but I can't find the picture of them side-by-side with the Brembos. IMO just use a decal if you want one, I stuck with all black. Cpelo I think your decals are backwards.

This is my biggest pet peeve on cars. Don't try to fake what you have. The people who know what you have laugh at you and the people who don't know what you have don't give a shit and you are not impressing them. It's lose lose in my opinion.

And yeah, that is upside down buddy.

Or make your own stickers. Here's mine. The brand name is just a gag - the font is similar to brembo and my last name is similar enough to make some guys do a double-take. (Very crappy pic with poor color.)

Who cares if they are Brembo's or not? The caliper needs something to break it up a little.

How many Mustangs have come with fake hood scoops over the years?
Heck if we want to be correct we should be running around with 4.9 badges on our car.

Now putting them on upside down. :doh:

Because while fake, you are not claiming to have another brand on your car than you really do and it came like that from the factory. People use the word Brembo like they do Kleenex. Not all monobloc brakes are "Brembos" it is a brand, not a type of brake. Might as well paint a 3rd stripe on your walmart sneakers and call them Addidas while you are at it, then drive home in your Ferrari badged Fiero or M badged 320i :lol: I saw a base 2010 GT with a bunch of Snakes and GT500 decals on it for sale recently, maybe you should just go all the way poser and buy one of those. Put ANYTHING on the caliper except Brembo. The StopTech idea was good and I really liked GTP's idea.

Actually my plan is to order GT350 badges and slap them on my convertible. That outta really get you fired up!

Welp..this has derailed a bit. Although that is kind of cringey to pass it off like that. Anyone have any recommendations or tips or pictures for the front brake calipers since they're a bit smaller?

Maybe GT sticker on the front brakes and running pony on the back ones?

And btw, are these stickers/decals heat resistant, or do normal stickers do fine?
