Completed - Raceseng Orbature Shift Knob - Red Delrin

Extra weight from this knob has really smoothed out the Tri-Ax Race. Previous 350/350R knob doesn't weigh much at all. There were some modifications needed to make it work due to the Steeda Lockout Collar. Luckily Nathanbrummer@SCS has a video on exactly how to make it work. The red is a little bright but I like it for now with the other accents. If I want to tone it down Raceseng has a ton of cover options for relatively cheap.

Also got a chance to put some miles on the new tune up from PBD and must say the car is running GREAT. Rob Shoemaker took over and it was a great experience. As this is basically a TVS L2 upgrade kit that they offer, i'm sure the base maps are damn close. One quick revision and it was all set. Car is much more mellow when you want it to be, but as you roll into boost it's a whole other story. Power comes on MUCH stronger and MUCH earlier. I had him set the limiter to 7500 but haven't played much up there. Very happy with the way the car feels and I'm gonna do my best to STOP here with the power mods lolol. Upgraded heat exchanger/IC Pump will finish it off nicely.

Few quick photos. Only tell tale signs the kit has been messed with from the outside are the pulley and the Y split at the MAF location. CARB legal enough for me lol

Definitely up there! I've had a few custom knobs from WC Lathe Werks on previous cars that were very nice as well. This 2 piece design is next level though. Thanks again for sharing your findings!

Very nice! Glad to hear Rob is doing your tune, he's done NA and Procharger tunes for me and both setups ran flawlessly.

Completed:

- 2x Nitto NT555R - 305/35/20

After turning it up a bit the 315/35/20 NT05s were struggling to get the power down. My main goal is to be able to hook 2nd consistently on the street. 2nd gear + boost + 3.73s makes for one HELL of a smile. These 555Rs have been fantastic so far. Relatively quiet, handle the corners well for what they are and hook better then anything else I've had. I realize there are better drag radials out there. A lot don't even consider the 555R a true drag radial, but for a street only car I felt these were the best option. Great balance of tire life, street manners, traction and wet weather usability.

Looking good! I wish I could use drag radials but too much rain around my parts, I'd never get to drive it lol. Let me know how these work for you in the wet.

Completed: G-LOC Front Brake Pads - GS1 Compound (PP/6 Pot)

Decided to try these pads out in an attempt to cut down on the ridiculous amounts of brake dust. Was not willing to sacrifice any performance from the OE pads and so far these do not disappoint. Fantastic initial bite and feel just as good if not slightly better then the stock pads. General consensus of the "low budget/low dust" pads seems to be lousy initial bite and just OK all around. Stock rotors are still in excellent shape and just removed old pad material with some 80 grit per Optimum Performance 's recommendation. Hoping my wheels will stay clean for more than 30 miles after a fresh wash now! Will report back after some time has passed.

Just a few comparison photos. G-LOC on the left OE on the right....

Been a while! Still enjoying the hell out of the car and just passed 2 years back on March 10th. Usually after about 2 years I start having thoughts about moving into a different project. No desire to move away from this platform just yet!

Made a few changes over the last few months....

02/04/18 - Ford HU5Z19A387A - Apple Car Play USB Port
02/25/18 - Diode Dynamics Sequential LED Turn Signal Assembilies with DRL Harness
03/31/18 - OEM Ford GT350 Rear Valance
03/31/18 - Corsa Xtreme GT350 Conversion Kit - 14349
03/31/18 - Palm Beach Dyno (Whipple) Twin 68mm Throttle Body

Diode Dynamics replacement front signals are a very nice piece. Nice and bright and I like the added DRL functionality. Install was a breeze and these seem to be having less issues then the Opt-7 units.

Been eyeing the GT350 valence since the beginning. Struggled to pull the trigger due to exhaust options. Initially I though about modifying my original Xtreme mufflers but after seeing a few others attempt this I decided just to keep things as simple and clean as possible by just using the GT350 specific mufflers. The conversion kit bolted perfectly to my existing Double X pipe and all is well. These mufflers do sound a bit different, almost a deeper tone. I'm sure the sound will change more as they break in.

Lastly, the PBD Twin 68 finishes off my current round of upgrades to the TVS kit. It's now the full L3 package that PBD offers. At this point there's not much more I can do on the crappy ACN91 fuel that I get here. If/when E85 is readily available Ill be able to do a return style fuel system, injectors and a pulley to really wake this thing up. Until then I'm very happy with the power and the throttle body did yield some noticeable gains.
