You have to install 35w HID, you'll be blind before to see the turn signal...:lol:
John, are these 35w really noticeably brighter? I remember when you first did the swap, you said they are brighter but not worthing the price.

BTW these Coplus turn signals are only turn signals or also parking lights? Are they switching white\amber or not?

Noticeably brighter ? Yes. But don't expect a "wow effect" after the swap. If you need a bright output like all the new LED headlights, keep your money.

The Coplus turn signal has only amber LED's as turn signal, and a single white LED for parking light (outer part of the light). The white LED stays on when turn.

Finally installed the tribar-switchback-DRL
It wasn't difficult at all.
Made you guys some pictures of this bottom-cut-operation and a PDF-cut-out-sample you can print.
I glued the cut-outs back with 3M 04748 Superfast Black Adhesive.

20mm grommet: eBay item number:121647155287
Made a centerhole with a strap-wrench, cutted one side open and glued it back.

Brightness is perfect.
I was in the US last week but these are better than US stock (if you use the correct wires: dont connect red wires to lights).

As I said in the other thread: thanks for the template! It will be very useful for other users.
What fuse you used for getting power? Is that a switched power (of course)?

Exactly: the fuse is switched 12v and used for "board electronic unit"
I used a piggyback to connect the DRLs because I hate to cut in the cars' wiring harness.

Thx for the info & template Bazzie! A few questions comes to mind, I was wondering with this cutting technique if there was a chance to get the wires installed like in this video? Basically coming out where the ballast is.

Second, could you easily position the led boards & glue them on?
Third, how did you get the dremel residue (plastic crumbles etc.) out of the light?

...and fourth, what did you use to cut the plastic at the back?

Good one, most likely a dremel but a sharp soldering iron would cut it as well, cleaner and with no residue, just an idea!
