DD mine 13k on the clock, had it for a year and 19 days. I have a Scion IQ 5.5 gallon tank 40 MPG as a back up LOL.
PS, I Don't care about resale; I knew what i was getting into about the maintenance of this guzzler BUT all worth it #notagaragequeen

I DD mine, but only ~10K miles per year. I don't think I would DD one at 35K per year.

I'm looking at buying a cheap DD as it is. YMMV.

I would. Granted I only have a GT but I DD mine 365 days a year in PA. It makes me look forward to my commutes. It's not the most practical DD by any means, but like others have said, it makes the commutes way more fun, and you only live once. I just make sure to detail and wax it regularly. It still looks new, inside and out, even after nearly 2 years of being outdoors all the time.

I DD mine. It's still "just a car" at the end of it :)

It seems to make a lot of other people happy seeing it, I constantly have people in cars next to me taking pics/video haha

DD for me. Car is a great daily. In normal mode it soaks up the bumps very well for a sports car. Gas is cheap,so not worried about mileage and I'm not interested in keeping the miles low as I bought this car to drive. Great to look forward to my commute and rolling the windows down in sport mode on the way home is the best stress reduction EVER!

Two thumbs up as a daily driver!

35K miles a year I would be looking at a Volt or something along those lines.

Mine is a daily driver. My only complaints are the small fuel tank, the low front lip coming out of driveways, and the drone in sixth. Its got some chips in the paint now but that's the price I pay to enjoy my car.

I DD mine, with limited exceptions in the winter. Basically what DocWalt said.

I daily drive mine only because I just can't help it! 1 year, 7 months with 12k miles. I'm less than 15 miles from work and I get the 3rd floor of our parking garage at work to myself. :)

DD for me is minimum of 35 to 40 minutes driving to the closest power plant or possibly 4 to 6 hours to others depending on who calls for my services. The majority of the miles are highway. I had not accepted the position with the new company contingent on some things that I wanted. So the counter offer that was made was a higher sign-on bonus rather than the company car. Plus I get mileage reimbursement. So i think I'll be able to get a decent DD with the additional bonus and then let the mileage reimbursement pay for whatever payment I have monthly.

I go through a tank of gas about every 3 days (company buys my gas), couldn't be happier. Enough said.

The car I am considering is a 2016 GT350 with heated/cooled seats. No Recaros and it has Sync3 system. If I'm not mistaken this car probably does not have the trackpack coolers and such as i think for 2016 it was an either or thing correct? Couldn't get heated/cooled seats with track package or something along those lines. Car is Deep Impact Blue with White OTT stripes

I don't daily drive mine, but I still put on 9,000 miles in 1 year. Thought I'd drive maybe 5,000mi/yr, allocated 7,500mi/yr for extended warranty and prepaid maintenance.... also didn't think I'd have to fill up the tank every day I drove the car......

I would DD this car, but not at 35k miles a year. Gas costs would be sky high, and you'll go through a ~$1,500 set of Super Sports, and a minimum of $500 worth of basic oil change maintenance every year. Most importantly, I feel you would lose the excitement of getting into the car.

Best case would be to get a GT350 and also a reliable gas sipping commuter.
