Recently started on some head work for a member
We have been busy so I'm late with updates but I'm starting to download some pictures

These heads where off a blow up. Most look great (lucked out) and will not appear to need and welding

These heads will be maximized for port velocities and flow numbers to match
The parameters given to us by the owner. I'll let him chime in with more information regarding that if he likes

For now here are some recent (dirty) pics and I'll feed more pics and information

What does it cost to have the heads ported? And any ideas how much extra power you can get out of them. If I ever have my heads off, I will get them ported if it's worth the money.

My ported a set of old school iron Dart II Sportsman SBC heads and came out well. Then more recently ported a set of aluminum 200cc runner 64cc chambers. I haven't seen dyno numbers. But my port work is archaic at best. No flow numbers or anything. I would want the Mustang heads done right.

As far as performance our shop car was just dynod
And picked up 50ish rwhp
While it doesn't seem like a lot we also lost 3psi

So if one returns that lost psi your going to have substantial gains
In the area of 100-150 rwhp on a mild combination like we have

Even more as the combination get more radical

Yes sir. Custom, we are also upgrading the valve springs to hold 35ish psi.

And losing valve train weight to help keep power robbing hp loss to a minimum
