So what’s everyone’s opinion? Stock 19lbs injectors with 5psi boost? Calculations/estimates say no but I’m curious if anyone has something to add?
You already know my thought :D

I though they were too but I have found numbers ranging from 19lbs to 30lbs. I believe they are actually 29lbs which I have seen referenced twice and would line up better with a 300hp engine... I have to see if foreparts.com will shed some light on the situation.....

Ok so stock injector part number is CM-5188 but I can't find anywhere that list the rate of this injector.... :frusty::frusty:

Edit: Farily certain these are 29lb/hr injectors...

So now 29lb injectors with 5 psi? Possible? Calculations still say no but its close....

I remember way back in the day, the keene bell blowers for the 5.0 used the stock 19lbs injectors. I think it was real low boost, like 5-6psi. was mostly there for the tq. im real interested to see where this m90 goes...

you might be able to run stock injectors, but youll probably end up having to pull timing up top to keep the power down. who knows, 5psi might work tho

I don't think you can get away with stock injectors even on 5psi, to be honest.

Maybe see about picking up some used 5.0 injectors?

yeah, might be right. would be safe to run what the procharger guys are running, that would make it a little easier to remote tune from mpt...they could atleast get you down the road to a local tuner

That is the plan but I was just hoping to save that $340.... haha

Next on the list is the MAP sensor... I might have to remote mount the sensor and have a vac/boost line running to it because of space issues with the M90. From what I know of MAP sensors this should be ok to do but I just need to find the right 2 bar sensor to use and how to wire it up.

What do you think of "amr500 supercharger"? I believe some Subaru runs them. I heard they can go up to (17PSI). However, it's a "Root" supercharger... Its not too big and could possibly be side mounted...?

A bit to small for your v6 I think. The ones on ebay are refurbished. there are no new ones manufactured.

Have you looked at rotrex? they are centrifugal, but can be configured with an electric clutch.

I actually looked into those as it would be a very nice size to mount on the side of the engine. Unfortunately as stated above, they are to small and do not flow enough air in order to power the V6. If you doubled them up you might be able to get 5-6 psi but that is alot of complexity and wasted space.
