Curious to see. 2017 with conv pack 1500 miles (15 hundred) . Dealer appraised at $45k. I was somewhat insulted. But who knows maybe that’s reality now

I am still seeing new ones with $20,000 markup, but I guess those dealers just want something for their showrooms. $45,000 seems low for something that new with so few miles, but maybe that’s just the market at this time.

I'd expect trade in value at a dealer to be about that. It'd be hard for them to sell a used GT350 for $55k when they start @ $57k new.

I’m thinking Msrp is 61 but I’m not sure what options you can take away to get to 57k but that’s a good point. We have the dealers listing these cars exact same Miles and make
For $58k average In my area so maybe we get out our negotiating hats and see where we can meet

Here’s another question. If I️ trade in do I️ leave all
Suppimemtal items in truck or will they disappear. Last car I️ purchase I️ left a note to contact me for extra parts. I️ feel like the Items wouldn’t make it to the new owner
Any opinions while I’m
Killing time ?

Around me, the dealer would sell that Ford Certified for 54-56k. A Chevy or Dodge dealer would sell it a couple K less. So you can get a LITTLE more out of them before you start to eat away their overhead.

Im in the same boat. Hoping to get 51 for mine. Trading it in on an 18 in ruby red. Also want to get the supplemental items to whoever buys it. Wondering how to make sure that happens.

That seems low to me...for a practically new car.

I always used Blackbook when trading my cars, most all dealers I've dealt with do as well. The trade in value according to Blackbook with your mileage and adding in tech for $1,600 is: $54,340 clean, $51,595 average, and $44,915 rough.

NOT including the mileage and technology in the figures, they have it listed as: $51,640 clean, $48,620 average, and $42,065 rough

THe market is getting softer but that is low. I would check with carmax and the KBB instant buy program. If you are in a snowy area that may lower value as well.

These cars really arent holding their value for some reason. Especially after all the crazy hype and ridiculous ADM prices. There are several low mileage GT350s just rotting on a the lots here locally.

With 1500 miles, I'd expect atleast $50k though

I think once they’re out of production the value will increase. Right now if you tell me I can have a new GT350 for 61k, or a lightly used one for $55k I’m going to pony up $6k. Once new is no longer an option then, IMHO a lightly used GT350 is worth $55k or more even.

If you don't want to keep supplement items you could tell the dealer you trade it to you have these items and to have new owner contact you if would like to have them. And leave a note in the glove box about items. And if after car has been sold for some time if you don't hear any thing and don't want them you could sell them on eBay. Theres always people interested in these items. Just research first so you don't want to much or to little.

I can see them taking the same road the 03/04 Cobras went down. It depends on what the new Shelby brings but this car is one of those special cars just like the 03/04 Cobra was at the time. I feel like in a few years, These cars will find their "real" fan base instead of the "gotta have the latest and greatest and get rid of it for the newest" crowd who saturate the market and drive the prices down.

Is it smog that makes them rot or is that a figure of speech?
